The 2nd London Curry Awards took place at the Holiday Inn Brentford Lock Hotel on Monday, July 1st to celebrate the best in the capital’s curry industry. The awards saw curry houses across London recognised for their graft, dedication, and hospitality. They honored quality food and service across a variety of categories including Chef of the Year, Best Restaurant Experience and Vegetarian Curry Restaurant of the Year.

NAZMIN’S, WANDSWORTH was in attendance at the award ceremony where it was announced to their delight they had won REGIONAL INNERS SOUTH LONDON in the BEST RESTAURANT category.

The black tie event was hosted by stand up comedian, Aatif Nawaz.

Several of the awards were split into local regions to ensure that smaller businesses from across London were also recognized. The London Curry Awards 2019 embodied the strength of the nation’s hospitality industry. It credited the key role played by a curry in making the London food scene one of the most exciting and transformative in the world.
